Rick Strong is a self-taught artist  For thirty years, Rick has worked to refine his vision as a fusion of light and sound.  As you are drawn into his paintings, you sense a constrained energy set to the motion of a primordial rhythm. 

     When Rick is not painting, he is writing music.  Rick has written music and preformed the guitar throughout his painting career.  Many of his paintings have "sound tracks".  When taken together, the paintings and music resonate in perfect balance.
